Group rules

1. No promotions

This group is committed to supporting and networking with bloggers so if everyone is promoting their latest blog post or social media account, all the questions & advice people ask for would easily get lost in the feed (or buried too deep in the feed to look for).

This means you may NOT:

  • Post links to your blog
  • Post links to your social media profile
  • Post affiliate links
  • Create posts for something you’re giving away for free
  • Create posts asking for people’s email addresses
  • Promote your own Facebook group/page
  • Ask people to join your giveaway

Exceptions:

  • Posting links to your blog posts in the comments section that answers a question someone has. Feel free to do that!
  • Posting a link as a comment in specific threads that ask you to post a link like Feedback Friday, Promo Friday, and Wins Wednesday.

2. No bullying or public shaming

This group is a positive & encouraging space. Anyone who posts rude comments will immediately be removed. Anyone who is bullying or public shaming of someone or a group of people will immediately be removed.

I reserve the right to remove anyone who I feel abuses the community at any time. No second chances.

3. No link sharing threads

This means you CANNOT create a thread asking people to share links like to their blogs, social media profiles, etc. Your admin will create these threads for your benefit from time to time, so there’s no need to do it. Having an excessive amount of link sharing is also spammy and gets in the way of others giving/receiving support

4. Don’t send private messages to other members with unsolicited business promotions

Please don’t send direct messages to other members with your products, services or promoting your blogging group.

5. No pornographic, sensitive material or spam

A no-brainer, right?

6. No Facebook live feeds

Please don’t create/post videos of yourself or host a Facebook Live feed in the group

7. Don’t direct message group admins

If you have questions about why your post was deleted, if your post is okay to publish or have any other questions related to this group, feel free to email me (Jojo) at jojo@travelingpetitegirl.com

8. Keep your posts within the topic of blogging + online entrepreneurship + marketing and anything else related to that

Posts that are not related to the mission of this group will be deleted.


Here are 4 sure ways to make the most out of this group

1. Introduce yourself

If you’re new, leave a post and introduce yourself, tell us your story and what your #1 blogging goal is! There’s no need to be shy here– post a selfie! And if not, post a photo of that something about yourself.

2. Start a thread to ask questions or ask for feedback

3. Jump in and offer answers, advice, and encouragement

Don’t be afraid to share your knowledge. Everyone is at a different stage in building their blogs. Even the simplest answer can make the hugest difference in someone’s business!

3. Use the search tool

Sometimes your question may have already been asked, feel free to use the Search tool to with a keyword regarding your question. If you don’t find it, post your question on the wall!

4. Embrace your new community!

The more you help other people, the more you can expect others will be willing to help you when you need it.
