Ichiran ramen (ramen with solo dining booths)
So Ichiran Ramen has different locations all throughout Tokyo and this one I’m at is in Shibuya. And it’s about a 5 minute walk from the famous Shibuya crossing. I came in to a tight space with solo dining booths! So you don’t have to worry about bothering your neighbor next door. I ate with my boyfriend so we had the option of folding the partition between us.
As for the ramen, it’s is great if you have a ramen craving and want a good fix. It’s pretty good and filled me my tummy good. If you can, watch the video for an ASMR moment you HAVE to watch!
Ichiran Ramen has many locations not only in Tokyo but in the rest of Japan. So definitely check if there is Ichiran Ramen where you are going.

Jongno Cheese Hatogu (Potato Mozzarella Cheese corn dog)
After eating ramen, we walked around a few minutes to this place called Jongno Cheese Hatogu. I’m one of those people who love watching videos of people eat and this was a food that was always featured. They don’t have it at all in Guam or Manila but I knew they had it here so it was on my bucket list to eat it.
So I go in for a bite and, well, the photo says it all! And at that point, the cheese was almost getting as long as my arm could stretch so I starting eat it.
Was it exactly what I dreamed of? YES. It’s basically a mozzarella stick wrapped in fries. Why wouldn’t I like it?! I did like the sugar component with the usual ketchup and mustard. It was like a crunchy dog with a slightly sweet and sour flavor.

Travel Tip
If you plan on going shopping in Shibuya. Which, of course, who could resist? Definitely bring your passport with you to avail tax-free shopping! I saved at least $50 USD because I brought my passport!
